  • 265 gallon stocking

Ok, so I was thinking of doing a corner tank at my dental office, but we redid the lobby and I now have a whole wall free! So I plan to install a 7ft, 265 gallon tank and have never stocked anything this big.

I know I want geos, my favorites are red head tapajos, but I'd like to mix in others.

I also want a few larger, peaceful cichlids. I want an Oscarn a Synspilum, and maybe Severum, but not sure what else to get. I'd consider some medium sized cichlids as well, robertsoni, blue acara, nic, and sajica are some I'm thinking about.

I'm not interested in BPs, angels, or any real aggressive species, but other than that, what would you add?

Severums. Cory cats. Large school or lemon tetras mixed with rummy nose. Geo altifrons. Geo heckelli. Winemilleri. All gorgeous geo species.

Thanks for the recommendations! I like severums and will likely include one. And those are the main 3 other get species I like too, just got to figure out a combination.

I've had fire mouths that were jerks, and I think there is already too much red in this tank. A texas may be interesting, how is their temperament?

I don't like clown loaches at all, and prob would not do discus since they should be a big group and I don't want to use the rest of the space on them
