Tile started going down yesterday. Grout goes in today.

Once the grout is dry and sealed we can start moving things in, which will begin on Friday. The large solid wall will have a rack with the following:

135G
125G
90G
75G

The smaller room with the large window will become my office. It has a wall opposite the window where my old 135G will go.

There will also be a wrought iron stand with a 55G on top and two 20G highs on the bottom. Finally, a wrought iron stand with two 30G longs.

Will post more pictures as we continue to make progress. Glad I figured out this picture orientation thing!

Bro, I hate you. That's an awesome start to an amazing fish room! One day I hope to bs able to have a room in my house dedicated to my tanks. How big is the room? Looks like there weren't anymore issues with pictures being the wrong orientation.

Sorry, but thanks! The space is pretty big. It's more or less 20x15 feet. We've been wanting to do this forever, and the opportunity happened to present itself. I also bought a custom built 220G that we put in our TV room. It replaced the 135G that will go into my office (which is currently sitting in my garage, waiting for some love!).

This is weird, but it worked: I got the images from my phone. I resized them using the Photo Gallery application in Windows Essentials. It decreases the size of the images, but the Forum doesn't like it. So, after resizing I just opened each in Paint, saved it, viola. Go figure.

All credit to my wife on the colors. She picked both the tile and the paint, and in fact they match what is in the rest of the house now. That's what we picked when the renovations were done, so we just continued it into this space as well.

Am thinking builder should consider to factor in fish room in their floor plan option to attract HFB members. lol.
