Did you install the wet-dry? How is it working out?

Thank ya sir. The wet/dry is still sitting in my trunk, I just picked it up this morning. I'm gonna do a bit of research before I get to hooking it up

Bare wires for the one I purchased, lights were $15 each. You can also get them with plugs for about $10 extra each

Looks perfect! But why did you mount them so high? I only ask because I intend to do the same setup, but if I hang them that high the light will blind everybody on the couch next to the tank. Is there any reason you couldn't put them all the way down almost to the surface?

They work either way, it just depends on your preference. At first I liked the lights sitting on the tank because it was brighter and it made some shadowy areas. It was more of a spotlight effect. When you raise the lights off the tank, you get a nice shimmer, but the intensity of the light drops a bit. To me, the shimmer trumps all else lol
