  • Tanganyika: Kilesa and Friends

This is one of my Tanganyika grow out tanks with 8 Kilesa and some friends. Got this group from Rusty a few weeks back. They are about 3"-4" long and growing. There are probably 3 males and 5 females.

Tank size is just 20G long and an AC70 for growing out. I realize that it might be overkill with filtration and flow, but they seem to be fine and happy.
These clowns are so fun to watch!

                Building sand dune

Not sure at what size these guys would start breeding. I saw this last night.
Red dots are top of sand dunes.

pretty cool...looks like they are setting up a little military bunker zone. not sure either what age/size they begin breeding, but looks like a promising start.

Not sure what the mystery of those sand dunes, but it's cool to watch. I will add another 1" of sand so they have more to play with.

That's a male digging out a breeding spot to impress a female. Definitely a solid start

I get the reason they dig hole to mark teritory but why not dump all the sand in one spot? That's a mystery bro lol.
