  • Show Refugium

I'm an architect that decided to design and build a show refugium to keep the pod count up for my mandarin. I wanted to do something new with form and function, and here's what I came up with.
The angled walls hold two chambers on either side. Water comes in from the DT, fills the chambers, then rolls over the chamber walls into the main section. Providing perfect current and mixture for the species of macroalgae I have growing. I'm working on the next model, so feedback is always welcome. Thanks for looking!

Very intriguing way to bring part of the normally hidden filtration and make it a cool focal point! Great job

I've just got nudi and a cucumber in there now. A pipefish will probably be the next inhabitant.
