Sounds good. Have you thought of upping the voltage on all your boats? Probably the best way to save on batteries and get longer run times

On the Inifity which runs 3s, the hull size and design is the limiting factor. Any more voltage on it and it becomes too fast and unstable. On th 4s and 6s boats, I have to reinforce the Fiberglass hulls before I can up it to take the additional stress. On 4s the Genesis torque rolls itself out of the hole so anymore voltage without reinforcement will split the hull.

Well, you'll have to lower the motor KV to correspond with the voltage increase so that the net power output is still the same. After you do that, you're sure to see an increase in run time, lower continuous amps, and maybe even lower battery temps.

Yup, that's what the 3 new motors coming in are for. I still need to reinforce for the additional torque. The lower kv motors should produce more torque as well at the same rpms.

            LOL you knew that!

I absolutely love HV. Have an EMaxx on 6S/1800 kV, can drive that for almost an hour on 4200 mAH. Of course my continuous draw is nowhere close to your boats. Have a 1600 kV motor and I'm thinking about taking it to 8S LOL

Hey when you get that dragster ready, give me a shout. I would love to see it in action.

Bitter sweet day today.. I finally got my little Infinity boat to break the 50mph barrier. Unfortunately it hit a ripple on the last run, flipped and split along the fiberglass seams and bent the aluminum rudder support. The hull is destroyed. It did register 51mph on the GPS though...

Here's a video of the run. For an idea of the area, the parameter of this lake is about 0.7 miles. so the distance across the lake is maybe around 1/4 mile I would guess.
