  • August GHAC Meeting

This months meeting will be held at Mike Truong's apartment. We will be discussing Saltwater and some Reefkeeping aspects of the hobby, though I'm sure we will cover lots of FW stuff as well. So all you folks that have thought about trying out a reef, this is the meeting to get some inside info as Mike's reef tank is amazing!

It will be on Saturday August 9th 2014 at approximately 7:00pm
The address is The Ava apts, 7600 Highmeadow Dr, Houston TX 77063 apt 4058

    Instructions for Entry
When you get there, you can dial #555 at the gate entrance. It will be easier to follow someone in, because you'll have to follow a car into the parking garage on the back side. (there's no dial system to get into the garage as it's residence only) but you can park in there. Waiting is never long on a Saturday evening, you can park anywhere in the garage that you don't see a reserved sign. The numbers don't mean anything. Park about 3rd level. There are 4 stairwells that go up the stairs in the back corner and it'll say 4th level, the 2 on the front side are key entry only, so if it's locked go to the opposite stairwell. go thru that door and turn right, walk to the end turn right. Apt #4058 is where it is located.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and a wonderful meeting! We will be posting up a list of things we might need.

Mike will be cooking a brisket, but any side would be appreciated. Drinks (and beer, alcohol) are appreciated as well. If you have a small and easily carried folding chair it might come in handy. This is in an apartment, just so everyone is aware, lets show our appreciation by treating Mike's place with the respect it deserves.
