    I am looking for affordable African Cichlids. I live in the spring/klein area, but am willing to drive a bit. Thanks!!

        Moganman was asking you which lake did you want your fish from. There are three major lakes in Africa . Lake Tangynika (spelling may be incorrect) ..Lake Malawi. ..and Lake Victoria . The fish are quite different from each lake .

          peacocks,yellow labs,demasoni,zebra-lake malawi
          brichardi,tropheus,frontosa,julies-lake tanganyika
          red back scraper,blue bar,tomato-lake victoria
          fish from different lakes dont always get along

              R7man has some nice hongi fish for sale in a post.

              They are Malawi mbuna rock dwellers and there are lots of cheap same type fish that will go very well with these guys.

              they are a very hardy beginner type fish

              rusty's, yellow labs, compressiceps etc etc

              google Malawi rock dwellers and study them. Lots of good choices at a reasonable price.

                I have a 72g tank at my office filled with all ages of Brichardis. Beautiful fish with long fins. Literally every stage from fry to almost 2 year old. If seriously interested, contact me. I have to unload some of them..... Desperately. They are quite prolific in the colony setting.
