  • Has first ever swap meet - may 18th

Sunday, May 18, 2014American Legion Hall3720 Alba RoadHouston, 7701811 AM to 4 PMThis will be an outdoor event on the Legion grounds so weather may be a factor but May is usually good. Tables, water, and power will be available but will be limited as we do not yet know how many sellers to expect. There will be no table fee, but sellers will be expected to set up, man, and clean up their own displays. Buy, Sell, or Trade to your hearts’ content !This event will also be promoted to the general public in the neighborhood, so please be prepared to answer novice questions and hopefully find some new members. If you are interested in setting up, please RSVP subject line SWAP MEET to Richard Jenkins – mrfingers@sbcglobal.net We will try to accommodate as many as possible but RSVPs will be first in line.

This is the first Swap Meet for the Houston Aquarium Society. Right now there is a list of 8 sellers requesting tables in advance and there will probably be more. The reserve list includes people from TCA and Louisiana. Should be a nice event with local people as well. For anyone who is interested, there is more information available at the HAS website: Houstonaquariumsociety.org.

It's good to diversify ! Too hard for me to get out of work that day. I'm hoping I'll have better luck for a Summer auction.
