I never use purigen or carbon in my breeder tanks.

Well, since it was new driftwood in there and the tapajos were digging their trenches, the driftwood floated wigglers were eaten on the open terrain. Went ahead and relocated the driftwood and did a WC. Daughter woke everybody up this morning to give the news of new eggs laid. See if we have better luck this time280g:peacocks

Noticed that one of the parents has a mouth full and is moving his mouth around without opening it and the other is fending of any intruders.280g:peacocks

Well, i've got 7 tapajos and got lucky with 3 pairs. All three pairs laid eggs like crazy but think they ate them. Son decided to take matters into his own hands and stripped a female today. Estimating between 60-100 little wigglers. Got them in a breeder net now. see how this route turns out......lol280g:peacocks

mine would lay eggs and then i would notice both parent holding them for a few days. one of the pairs did release them and they were swimming around before they scooped them back up. do yours look like they are holding ?280g:peacocks
