  • Back to Tapajos

Missed them so much, so when this awesome setup came up, had to jump on it. To top it off, it went perfect with my daughters room. It's a 92g corner bowfront with a 2260 for filtration. For livestock, I picked up 5 awesome
Wanamensis Rainbow (Emerald Green) from ADG and Josephavela was so kind to sell me back 7 tapajos. Fish were introduced Saturday evening. Daughter got a big surprise when she got home today. Tapajo eggs!

Checked this morning and the eggs are still there. Saw the parents digging a trench behind the rock underneath the driftwood. My daughter is really excited. Hopefully the parents can fend off the tank mates

Damn son! Mine haven't wanted to breed for a while now. Wondered if maybe removing the Purigen would help.
Welcome back to the world of tapajos!!!

Beto do you have any purigen or any carbon in your filters on that tank?
You got a few days til they wiggle... Plus mom should be aggressive enough to defend em.

Ok. I think I need to take out the purigen in my canister.
