Trying my hand at California black worms. They love it and its much better than blood worms. I have a two that are picky eaters but I dropped a handful of live worms in there and they were devouring it up. Wife isnt to thrilled about have a tub of live worms in the fridge.

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Very nice job and progression of the tank. Then again, I expected nothing less. :)

                    • Thans had a bit of a fight with hair and bba. Problem came down to I am lazy and feed them a lot and didnt do enough water changes and those Radions put a lot of unused light. So I sprung for a CO2 because lord knows im not going to get less lazy. So I have been running the CO2 for about a month and the bba is about half. Those manzanitas used to be covered now its only on the rocks and I trimmed all the plants to get rid of dying leaves the other source of nutrients. I just didnt have enough fish to produce an even subpar amount of CO2 naturally because I didnt want to overload the system.

                      • And the discus love the black worms. They will eat it out of my hand. I decided to freeze them because keeping them alive is a pain in the but again I am lazy. I bought 2 lbs about a month and half ago and still have about 1/3 of it left

                            • I really like this... just got into the Discus world this year and its nice to see an expert's design such as yours. Does the refugium prevent frequent water changes. I have heard their are some complexities to setting one up for freshwater but watched a video where a Denver based Discuss distributor set up a show tank and overstocked and had not changed water in over a year... was crystal clear.

Do you know where I can order Fire Red German strand Discus online?
