  • What did you get at the auction?

Sorry I missed it yesterday guys, I cam promise if there was any way at all I would have been there. But with us leaving Tuesday and my Spine issues I could not take to long trips that close together. So entertain me here and tell me how it went and what you guys got.

I got about 10lbs of fish food, manzanita wood, a 175W Coralife metal halide light bulb, some Aulonocara stuartgranti "Undu Reef" Peacocks, and the opportunity to meet some fellow HFB members for the first time!

Sorry I missed this one, but I had a tank to set up and did not need any fish at this time. I will be at the next one for sure.

The box O'random I picked up had 6 large air pumps anyone want one I think I can spare a couple. I was surprised to see so may albino bn placos.... on that note anyone have a non albino female or long fin i would love to take it off your hands. I also picked up 4 cherry shrimp, a power head, under gravel filters, 5 narrow leaf ferns, a glass scraper, a bucket with free gravel, several new friends, holly rock, a couple decorations, and the list goes on. I had a blast and hope that I get the chance to hang out again soon. I would like to say it was a wonderful experience and I was glad that I had the chance to make it.

How often is this auction? I didn't think I was going to be able to make it and then my plans changed last minute. I was there for most of it, but ill prepared. If I had an empty tank at the house, I could have gotten so great fish for a great price. I won't let that happen again.

Is the next one scheduled or is it an annual thing?

The GHAC has 2 auctions per year . . . so expect the next one to be in October or November.
