  • big plastic containers at Walmart

i saw these today for $25. these would make great holding tubs or even diy wet/drys. not sure on the specs but they were around 48"x18"x18"

Make sure that they can hold a massive amount of weight. Reason is that plastic tubs tend to bend under the pressures of the amount of water we have a habit of adding to them :)

You could make a wall out of 2x4's and plywood to put the contianer into to prevent bending?
Fish are people too, they just have gills.

This is the problem -- they are not perfectly square :(
You could make something, I suppose.. but will it look nice ?

It could look nice if you put trim on it and stained it, but if it's used as a wet-dry and is under a stand, does it need to look nice?

              Hi
I accidentally found these at Tractor Supply. It looks like the Houston Area has about 10 of these stores...

Check out the link of tubs http://www.tractorsupply.com/livesto...s/stock-tanks/

The ones I use are the 110 gallon tubs.... they are wonderful growout tubs... and the prices are quite reasonable.. the tubs are sturdy much more so than the plastic stuff.

I've got a 300 gallon stock tank on my back porch as a pond. I know several other members here use them as well.

Nice, I hadn't seen some of those listed other than the 100 and 300 gallon rubbermaids.
