  • Best Burger in Houston area???

Okay, I found a burger place on Murphy just down from HAW that we're going to try tonight. Tornado Burger. I'll update all of you later.

I really like Beck's Prime for a chain and I tend to agree with Texas Burger Guy www.texasburgerguy.com and his methods for judging burgers.

Live Oak Grill in Sugar Land makes a decent Burger but not awsome.

So what places do you all know of?

I love Texas Hamburger Palace on Ranchester and Harwin. I like their burger, but their fried zucchini and other finger foods are to die for. Personally I like a open fire grilled burger over a fried burger, so they are at a disadvantage on their burger, but I just love going there for their fried zucchini, onion rings, fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks.

        2. Backyard Burger
        3. Chili's
        4. Whataburger

As for privately owned - Cotton's in Lake Charles LA. I've still yet to find a Texas joint that can match their burger.

Nobody makes it like I do!
Thats why I go to Fudruckers.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

The Backyard Grill. They have four 1/2 pound pattys on one of theirs.

I haven't found a good place here in Katy yet, except my own backyard. But, when I was in the Heights, Jax Grill on Shepherd/Durham made a respectable burger and excellent onion rings. Oh, and their beer is good and cold too.
