  • Carbon bottles

I've seen carbon bottles used over the years to remove chlorine from water. Does it also remove chloramine? Also, without testing, how do you know when it's exhausted? A gallon of Prime costs about 60 bucks and lasts me almost two years. What is the typical cost of a carbon set-up and media replacement?

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

The ones I've seen have always small carbon filters like the ones used for fridges but some had some nice cartridges like those used for RO filters.

                          They are also available online.

I am upgrading to a much larger one soon so you can either buy my old one or go in on a big one.
