Looks like Zongwe to me. My murago have dots, and blue/green face.

Of course, there is always some mix up between murago (be it yellow or green) and zongwe.

Geoff_Tropheus may be able to clarify this. He used to keep Zongwe's.

Is there any way you can take a lighter picture? I can't see any color from the above photo.

Call them what you want... it's the internet and also a public forum so I feel everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Don't get all wound up about it... normally Mooriii are bright colored fish. Zongwe/Murago are ones that are normally appreciated by more avid hobbyist since they lack the "bright rainbow" colors. IMO I like Muragos over just about all the other Moorii available so don't take my comment the wrong way.

that picture looks just like the zongwe's Geoff had. Therefore, that is my guess as well. :)

                I wouldn't mind viewing a brighter picture. :)

                  Jeb,

That fish is Zongwe. All Murago will have the spots on the head. No spots its Zongwe.

Lots of times you have got to be very careful when getting Murago. From time to time you will find green Murage and Yellow Murago.

The Murago types, Zongwe, and Kapampa are all close together.

                  Green Murago - Lusingu

                  Yellow Murago

Anyone ever seen Lusingu? I would like to see a different picture of this fish than the one from Ad what we always see.

How does someone take such a crappy picture with the fish being held in a net as far or close to the person with the camera as they want.

                              Sorry, could not help it....
