WTB-Eheim 2260 /2262 Canister filter.

I have a new 120 drilled that I need to get up and running right now today. Looking for the big Eheim. I want one as complete as possible.  Let me know what you have.

I know where (2) Eheim 2262's with no media new in the box are at.  About $420 at Dan's Aquarium Warehouse.

For media I got what I think is a very simple and cheap way to pack the filter that has worked for me very well.

4L of Effimech Noodles.  1-1/2" Thick Blue Foam from Jehmco cut to fit. Then (2) 1-gallon bales of Bio-Bale, then top off with 1.8 Liters of Black Diamond Charcoal or (5) Bags Chemipure, final layer is bulkb blue bonded pad cut to fit.

All of this can be done for about $40-50

Derek sent me an email so I am waiting to hear back from him. I absolutely want used.   I have the tank in the back of the truck and have been building another stand.  It has been drilled and will be waiting for a filter.  I am going to try to steer away from wet/drys and go with all 2260s from this point on.

here is an eheim for sale on craiglist's..... i dont remember what size it is... but he told me he used on a larger tank that was a 120g..... Houston Craiglist

Whats an 2013?
We have been looking for a big eheim so we can set up a 135g..... we were either going to go with a 2260 or two smaller ones....we were as well hoping to find used ones.... I know Chris (txftcat) has been looking for awhile too since the last time we talked with him

yep after having the 2260 on the 140    This is the only way to go. Well I say the only way and opinions will vary. The new 140 setup is the quietest and least maint. tank I have yet crystal clear and because its a canister, I have little to nothing to worry about like leaks.

I cant think of 1 month that has gone by on the 265 that water hasnt hit the floor. probably because me jacking with it.....dohh

Talk to Geoff.  I think he runs 2260/2262 on all his tanks.  After hearing about his setups and looking at the setups at fish gallery, I was convinced.
