  • Distinguishing different types of Female Bettas

I know how to tell if a female is a crowntail, but how can you tell if she's a Half Moon or a Delta or Double Tail? I'm looking on AquaBid at the different bettas (I'm thinking about breeding Half Moons next) and the pictures of all the females (except the crowntails) look the same to me. In my opinion, they look just like my females that I got from Petco...and I assumed those were veiltails.

Anyway, please help me if you know how to tell the difference. Thank you!

I'd help if I could.  I think phishphreek has some kind of chart on his site.  There is a link on his account.

DT females also have double tails, so that should be easy.

So far i've not been able to tell between a delta and a HM just by looking at a female. I'm not sure it is possible.
