General Information:
Lymphocystic disease is a chronic, slowly developing viral disease. The lesions are rough, warty growths on the skin and fins. They can be large growths, or small clusters resembling cauliflower. They are usually white to gray-white, and sometimes pink. Most times the lesions will disappear on their own.
Lymphocystis is extremely infectious. However, some fish are more susceptible to it than others.

Treatment There is no cure for lymphocystis, however it is very seldom fatal. Keeping the water clean and stress factors minimal will help manage the outbreaks.
