Props for being mentioned on this weeks Tanked show!

On the show, they made a stingray tank for display at dwayne wades new shoe release for the all-star game in Houston. The place the tank was located was rented, so they had to dismantle the tank after the party. Instead of them re-shipping the fish back to Exotic reef imports, they lined up a local store to pick up the rays at the tear down. Fish Gallery was mentioned as the LFS that took them.

I know how most of you don't like the show as its not the "correct" way of doing things, but still pretty damn cool to have one of our LFS mentioned on National TV!

I hate when I meet someone and they discover I'm into aquariums and the first thing they say is, "I love that show tanked!" I just laugh.

There's nothing wrong with the show. You just have to realize its a reality show. Best acrylic tanks out there.

Majority of their tanks are commercial applications and almost no business wants to deal with care and maintenance of real corals.

For most people is all about the fish, not the coral

It would be nice to see them set up a few freshwater tanks or discuss proper care and cycling. I have had to explain on numerous occasions what they are doing and how they achieve the result without cycling (though arguably they just hard cycle)

The show is fine. You all got to remember this show is marketed to the masses and on a time frame. They can't explain it all every show and enough detail. And most watchers won't care and will get turned off by it. They are giving more info then the first season.

And really, their tanks are mostly fish only. The live sand, natural sea water, and their dozen bottles of bacteria is more than enough. They've mentioned before that they do acclimate fish for a few hours before tossing into the tank as well. Its just not the interesting stuff to put on TV. They must be doing something right.
