Thinking of diving into the spec V nano world

Got one as a birthday present and it seems better suited as a pico tank vs. small freshwater tank. Anyone have any good links for customization and other setup techniques, stocking etc???

So pico vs fw? I don't get it? Do you mean saltwater vs freshwater? If so, freshwater will be much much less work. You'd have to upgrade or rig the existing light fixture for saltwater reef or planted tanks, but for fish only, stock would be well suited for nano fish.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I meant salt vs fresh. I've seen some pics of some nice looking mini reefs with the spec V. Upgrades aren't an issue
