  • My saltwater Journey

I have been reading the forums and learning but have not really joined. Started with a biocube 14 and upgraded on oct 12, 2011 to my biocube 29. I've learned a lot from everyone and would like to thank them for their knowledge and also the people in City Pets for being patient with me (Donnie, David, Tree and Mama in the counter). I know I still have along ways to go but I would like to share what I have so far. Always open to any suggestions. Happy reeding everyone.

What an absolutely beautiful little reef, if i were to go completely insane and decide to go back into saltwater reef keeping again i would copy off yours to the letter, love the bow front tank and your arrangement is awesome.

Thanks a lot guys! My mandarin actually eats brine shrimp. I've been dumping a bottle of copipods every 3 months. Don't know if it helps but it makes me feel good. I'm actually still looking around for what I can give my mandarin other than brine shrimp.

Thanks a lot for all the compliments. I appreciate them. Right now I'm just using the 2nd chamber as a refugium. Debating if I should build a refugium in the cabinet with an overflow. Just a thought. Really have to think about it. There's always something to do with your tank.

i thought about that and looked at posts and videos as well as modifying an AC filter to become a fuge but it won't fit. I'm going to revisit that idea. Less plumbing.
