  • My 2.5 Reef! (satire)

Hey guys, I'm new to this reef thing but I have been in the game for a minute. Nahmsayin! I just picked up this 2.5 gallon tank and am filling it tomorrow morning. Gonna toss in that live rock stuff and some subscrate. Let it cycle for a few hours. I know how important that is. I'm gonna trim down the cycle time, I got some old water from a buddy's tank.

I am so excited for tomorrow. I'm gonna be going to Fish Gallery to get some soft corals, a few clown fish (HAHAHA NEMO!!), maybe a starfish or two. I think a small eel would be cool too. I love the eels in Little Mermaid! I'll be posting pics tomorrow when this is all done. Do you think that a seahorse would be too much? I dont want to overstock the reef.

i would say adding a seahorse would be a horrible idea. just cause your going to be getting water from your buddy means nothing water holds very little bb if any at all. seahorses need a very mature tank and pristine water conditions.
dont bro me if you dont know me!!!!!

Dude, clownfish are small. And you have to have them or the rest of the reef dies. Dont you know anything?

correction you dont have to have clownfish for a reef tank to survive... i am currently running a 5 gallon reef have no fish, 3 hermits and 1 scarlet skunk cleaner.. my reef tank is holding up real well.. and please dont assault the sharks of this forum because they're hungry for some action.. just sayin.. lol
