Went to see Rene to pick up my colony of BG today. Very nice guy, opened the door with a big smile and showed us around his operation. Of course the first tanks I went to look at were the ones that he BGs were housed in. I was very happy to find these guys in such a good shape that when I put my hand on the lid of each tank, all of the BG were at attention ready for food! Pretty much every one of his tanks were like that. Oh, and let's not forget that this man gives you an excellent price that made my trip to Austin worth every minute and mile!

Thanks Rene and I wish you more and more success this New Year and those that follow.

It was nice to meet you and Tim. I cant say that bagging all of the fish was fun but we definitely got it done. Please post some pics or vids. I can't wait to see the fish in your tank. Let me know if you need anything I can help with.

Enjoy and lets not bag 30+ BGs again...lmao

You shouldn't have said that... because I want you to get me more. :drama: If your exporter comes across any, I want them all, don't even bother telling anybody else they're coming. :shake:

Started a thread in the HTPC Petro variant section. Check it out.

No problem. I will tell her. The ratio you've is very close to pairs. My exporter said that BG do well in pairs. Please keep us posted on how they are doing. This will be a very great way to keep track of the ratio you need for BG to make it in captivity (at least breeding and not not killing each other). Thanks again.

Will do Rene, I have a nasty habit of posting everything on this forum , and keep me posted of any incoming BG from your exporter, especially more females.

Sonny is the MAN. Good Luck!

You don't need more fish so resist that temptation.

Rene is by far one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Always smiling and sharing his fish wisdom. One time he welcomed me and some of my friends who bought some stuff at like 11 PM after I insisted on not going. Still was smiling. Sleepy but smiling lol.
