      IT is basically the same picture as my avatar just larger so you can see him better. He only eats live food I never trained him to eat pellets or anything. He started out in a 30 gallon tank when i first had him the in to a 55 and now he is in a 125 all by him self. well he does have a red crawdad living there too.

        Oh and I also caught the crawdad myself over a year ago she has grown significantly.

          Nice. I caught a black crappie about the same size and had him for a while. Also had 3 dwarf crawfish I caught from a creek on my parents' land

            my fish house:
            2.5g- ramshorn hatchery
            6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails
            29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
            45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers

            75g-
            2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
            125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
            and about a dozen bettas....

                you guys are badass, catch fish from creeks/ponds/lakes and put it in fish tanks ahaha

                  I usually just eat mine or use them for cutbait. LOL yall are nice to save them.
                  180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts
                  75g - 1 Silver Aro, 1 Mean Koi Angel
                  50g - Various platy & mollies
                  10g - 1 Green Spotted Puffer

                      I usually eat crappie that I catch too, but he was only about 8 inches when I caught him he is now about 13 inches long I caught him 3ish years ago right after I first started getting in to tanks and he was basically my first "real" fish. And no you can not come fish in this tank lol. Carl the crappie is friend not food. It wouldn't be hard to catch him though he is very aggressive.

                        i got a red eye coosa bass he is very aggressive i cant wait till i move and get bigger tank to move him in so he can put some size

                            He has me what more could a fishy want? I have thought about catching him another from time to time.
