  • RODI Waste

Well I've gotten a RODI filter for my salt tank and was wondering if the waste water would be ok for using in my fresh water tank. It looks like the waste goes through three of the four filters and would be pretty clean.
    Any thoughts?

The waste water maybe good enough to use in freshwater tank but I am not sure how clean it is.

Tap water -> sediment filter -> carbon block(s) -> water (let's call it stage 3).

Water stage 3 is cleaner than tap but then

Water stage 3 is split into ~20% RO water and 80% of waste.

The waste water is no longer as good as water at stage 3. It contains all the bad stuffs the RO membrane rejects. Is it cleaner than tap? I don't know.

It's fine to use. The TDS is only slightly higher than the original tapwater.
