No, it happens every now and then. Usually when I reply with a quote.

The visitor message thing IS pretty cool.

I always miss those.

It does seem cool. Does everyone's activity feed look the same? Or is it kinda like FB where you only see what you've posted in or whatever applies to you?

I think it shows anything you have permission to see. Like, if you are in a Group, you will see Group posts, and someone who isn't in the group won't.

I know that it tracks the following:
Blog Comment
Blog Entry
Calendar Event
CMS Article
CMS Comment
Forum Post
Forum Thread
Forum Visitor Message
Group Discussion
Group
Group Discussion Message
Group Photo
Group Photo Comment

And you can filter what you see by clicking the 'filter' dropdown at the top right of the Activity Stream.
