That's still going to produce enough heat energy to affect the temp. Give it a go, but IMO I would take it back and get a fluorescent. Make sure it ain't to close to the glass or trim. If it put off as much heat as I think it will you could melt the plastic trim if to close. I've also read on other forums of similar situations causing the glass to crack with heat shift. Flood lights get very hot. I use 2 them to light my driveway & 15 of them to light the arroyo to attract fish. Theyr'e cheap but they produce a ton of heat.180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts
75g - 1 Silver Aro, 1 Mean Koi Angel
50g - Various platy & mollies
10g - 1 Green Spotted Puffer
