Pest?

Hey, lately in my 55g I have been seeing these little white dots on the glass of the tank. Is this a pest?

Picture is needed. Is it hard? Does it move?

if they do not move, they may be little tube worms or little sponges. These are usually the first larger animals to colonize glass.
Take a magnifying glass to it.. if it is a little spiral, then its a tube worm.

If it is a tube worm what do I do?

If you don't want them just scrape them off. They don't hurt
