  • Help on identifying coral or parasite?

I just got into a nano reef, no experience with marine, I been cycling my tank with live rock and carib sea arglive and also dosing some ammonia, everything looks good, salinity 1.025.

when I got the live rock I got like what it appear some sort of polyp death coral arrangement, well that is what I can tell, and it seems it has some sort of growth or parasite on it but I am not sure, but what I can tell it looks like a plant and if I knock the glass or turn lights it hides very fast so I know it is live.

    here is a pic is

it is what is is in between that looks like a plant or not sure of the white death coral.

Hmm, I don't see a feather duster in that picture.
Looks like some dead sponge to me.
