  • Splitting ricordea??

I've ricordea that has since split/multiplied into size of a man's hand. I set up a 29g nano reef tank for my son. I wanted to see if I can cut parts of it or one of the head and tie it to small piece of rubble and transfer it to my nano tank? And how? I've read on internet and see all different answers. Help

Are they all on one big rock?

If so, use a dremmal to cut the rock. Then use sissors to cut the coral in half.

I like to give each frag a mouth.
I ate my fish that died.

I use an acrylic shower caddie with 1 even layer of crushed coral on it. Put shrooms or frags inside and if you get the whole shroom mouth and all, it attaches in a few days. Superglue the crushed coral pebble to whatever you want. Frags take a longer time, probably 10 days or so. I prefer to frag them while on the rocks by not removing them. I only remove whole mushrooms. The ones remaining I will slice in halves or quarters through the mouth so they will always be attached, heal, and drift apart.
