I am doing a 60 gal build. What is the best skimmer?

No one replied? Ok..... any skimme that works will suffice. Performand and money are the things to consider. If you ask 10 people which skimmer is best you will get 13 answers. I personally like the ASM G series of skimmers. Especially with a gate valve mode. If you want to do it on the cheap, coralife supper skimmers can be picked up cheap on ebay and craigs list. They work fine but you will have to clean the air intake a couple of times a month.

I like precision marine, reef octopus. I've got a precision marine Rl100 for my 65

I say go slimmer less for about 8 months. Or until you start adding lots of fish.
