  • Jim's Discus

Have any of you guys gotten fish from Jim's Discus in Arlington, TX. I like some of the fish they list. Thinking about taking a trip up there to check them out and maybe pick up some fish.

I haven't but with the quality/price/selection at HAW I don't see the point of driving that far.

Got all my discus from HAW before. Was in there today and just did not see what I was looking for. Looking for spotted discus. Jim's prices appear to be dang good from what I saw. Still looking around local though.

Not sure when I will go, no rush right now. I would make arrangements with Jim to make sure he had some fish I would want at the right size and price. Would make a weekend road trip with the wife out of it. Just want to make sure I good good, strong, healthy stock, that has the pattern and color I like. I have lost 4 over the past year due to being health compromised since receiving (still have 6). Don't want to risk it again.
