Unit is designed to be suspended ~ 14" off water surface for tanks with 16-18" water depth. This will give about 90-100 PAR at the bottom. This is a common value you will find at that level in Metal Halide lit tanks. Raise it 18-21" for LPS tanks. This will give about 70-90 PAR at the bottom.
Multiple units can be set 18" apart and provide a uniform light coverage for most tanks.
