          hmm.. it actually looks normal to me, maybe a bit stressed from moving it or being recently acquired if that's the case.

          Most Leathers I've seen are ugly to begin with so... I might be bias.

            True, leathers are just about the weakest corals to own.

            But that one looks stressed. Zero extensions and it's arms are even drooping down.
            I ate my fish that died.

              All this bashing the poor guy's coral for nothing, and nobody here could even come up with a scientific name for the guy! Lol
              It's a Sinularia species, probably S. Flexibilis, but it's worth noting the texture appears very Dura-like. Flexibilis will be much softer and slimier than the Dura's wet cowhide feel.

                Very sad fellow you got there. It has been a few years since I kept softies. I believe it is a stressed Kenya tree coral (Capnella Imbricata). Give it some TLC and it will look awesome.
                My fish has no eye, he is called "fsh"
