  • Calcium. . .

    Hey Boxers,

So does anyone have a wonderful miracle cure for calcium buildup that works whith the fish still in the tank?

I know vinegar, and a good razer blade, lots of elbow grease. lather, rinse, and repeat.

but im looking for something like C.L.R. thats fish safe.

Minimizing water splash. Thin layer of silicone paste. Maintaining your tank.

Acidic water perhaps? possibly a low percentage acid? It might alter the ph slightly, but would achieve the result...

i have been using them to clean the inside of glass aquariums while the fish are inside with no problems. i also used one to clean coraline algae off of an acrylic eclipse, again it worked like a charm with impressive clarity and no scratched that i can see.
