    What salt is best to use? I've been using instant ocean is there a better brand

    I swear by red sea: coral pro not the regular red sea stuff which i dont like at all. are you using reef crystals or the regular instant ocean mix?
    25g - Reef
    3.5g - Surge Tank
    10g - Ichthyophthirius multifilis breeding colony

      It all depends on what you are keeping. If its FOWLR then what you are using is fine. If its corals then the type matters. I use the same as chichlid its expensive but IMO its the best mix for all types of corals.

                  Just the regular instant ocean the buckets empty and gotta get more salt and want to make sure what I get next is good and pro coral

                      after trying instant ocean, reef crystals, kent, red sea and red sea coral pro. coral pro has kept my params most stable next would be reef crystals IMO. Im sure you will get a bunch of different recommendations this is just my experience.

                        I have used Oceanic and coral pro. Oceanic is good but coral pro is better less dosing required with it because elements are higher.

                          Well thanks for the info I think I'm gonna try red sea coral pro next and see how that goes does anyone know which LFS sells it and about how much I've found it online for $60 for 160gallon bucket

                            Thats about the price they sell it locally. I get it primarily from CP due to location but FG also carries it.
