  • Got some new interverts today!

I got some more food for my mantis today.

He is kind of small. I hope he can even eat them.

I'll update with names and care info when I have time. :)

Oh, no, they're too pretty to eat! Set up a tank and make them into pets!

              Nahhhh, dont worry.

I have a black and white mantis and he is like 2.5 inches so I dont think he can really catch them.

But if he does....I'll take to take pictures of the action! :)

Man, my skunk shrimp is straight broken!

So I had a coral shrimp up in this 60p acting a foo. He would try to eat every other invert I put in the tank....which I don't even care to much about.

But what I hated about the coral shrimp was that it would hide. He literally hid all day in the same spot without moving.

So I went to trade him in for some more active shrimps.....a skunk shrimp being a more "active" shrimp. But all my skunk shrimp does is hide too!

I'm going to get another skunk shrimp to see if it helps.

Anyone got tips on how to get a skunk shrimp more active?

                        Not that I know of....

Unless my baby mantis shrimps comes out to hunt more then I think and keeps everyone else scared.

The only fish I have is a six-line and he is only like 1.5".

My skunk stayed upside down on a rock most of the day. BUT, during feeding time he would be front and center picking up the pieces the fish missed.

Get multiple and they'll move more... the sixline might be bullying cause they are mean mofos.
