  • Getting Biocube essentials together....

Picked up my 29G Biocube last night from a local guy here in Spring. Picked up the cube for a stellar deal. Today I ordered, an Intank media basket, fuge basket, fuge 10W light and fish saver. I'll be running filter floss, chemi-pure, and purigen in the media basket. I picked up a 100W heater for the 1st chamber, as the wife likes to keep the house at 72F all the time!

I want to do this right, and not rush anything as this is my first saltwater tank. Once all my media comes in, I'll look at adding some live sand, about 20lbs of live rock, and a shrimp to start the "cycle." Saltwater is a much more expensive investment and I don't want to be lose any fish or live corals.
