  • eheim 3366 in a 5 gallon CRS tank?

would it overkill to put an eheim 3366 echo in a 5 gallon? i only have 9 CRS at the moment and im not sure if the output will be too harsh for them. its currently on my 75 gallon tropheus tank. I currently have a Lee's corner filter running in the 5gallon. lol what would you guys do?

I never heard of an eheim 3366, but I'd be willing to bet that it is too strong for shrimp of on your 75. Stick with a sponge filter . . . or a HOB with a sponge prefilter.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I would worry more about the inlet than the outlet. Even with a sponge cover, those babies seem to find a way through occassionally.

        +1 for Tim.
