  • Pictures of my discus

Some of these like the checkerboard pigeons are adult/sub adult and checkerboard turqs are the same. I've got some juvie blue diamonds and blue snakeskins and LSS.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures. They were really active swimming everywhere.

I'm planning to do more water changes that include water that has peat moss tannins.

Thanks CF. I had a bunch of small manzanita branches that I screwed together to make that network of driftwood. I'm starting to learn alot about their environment thanks to everyone here who have given me some excellent suggestions

The plants are live with minimal watts per gallon. I don't know how they survive.

I'm shooting with my trusty iPhone. I'm not the greatest at getting the fish to pose for the money shot. I would really like to add jeebus' tiger turqs to my tank. One big happy family

Thanks Terry. I love her sharp contrasting colors. Her markings are really crisp. She's a bit shy until feeding time but she's been there only a month. I picked her at HAW

Hey Nacra I was reading that the checkerboard pigeon shouldn't breed with turqs because of the peppering that it will cause. Any thoughts?
