  • 100 Gallon Wave Setup

Decided to setup a reef tank again, basic setup, will probably do only softies and LPS, since i am still too busy at work to mess with anything else.

    But this is it

100 gallon reef-ready wave tank, wet/dry with micron sock, mag 9.5 return, no skimmer,

have t5ho x 4 on it, and 2 x 150 metal halides, not using these right now

live rock only as of now, but will start adding stuff here in the next two weeks.

the only thing in my tank is this beautiful vlamingii tang i got from nitty

awesome, indeed, will use 75 as frag tank i reckon.

    here are some pics

For a second there I thought this was one of those old school surge wave tanks. People used to set up buckets over their tanks, it would fill up tip over and splash into the tank causing a wave.

Great start. Looking forward to see what kinda cool stuff you'll be adding.

That brain looks much better in your tank than mine. It was too big for my tank.
