  • What am I?

He was an impulse buy. I knew I had the right conditions for him and I knew I had enough space for him and I knew what he ate. What is he? I got three different answers at the fish store.

            Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I got him at Floppy pets. You could request the owner ( Keith) to order you one but theres no guarantee of what size or what stage in the morph it will be. I had mine as a mudpuppy for six days before it morph into a land dweller. If you want it to ne aquatic all the time, I'd look into axolotls. :)

You never know what he's got at floppy pets. Sometimes it's ordinary fish stop stuff and others, he has gars, beautiful cichlids, mudpuppies, amazing placos, shovel nose catfish... Take your pick but you really have to look around and look hard.

It's a Tiger Salamander larva. He will metamorphose into a terrestrial adult that looks like this:
