  • ich attack with snails?

i have a 450g pond with 4 butterfly koi, 25+ mosquito fish, and 8 large 1"-2" japanese trapdoor snails.

i want to treat with kordons ich attack as a prevenitive, im worried about the snails though, i want to know if its ok to treat the pond with the snails in it.

none of the fish have any ailments, but i would like to do this treatment as a prevenitive step once a week.

if its not neccesarry then i wont do it, but i would like to know if its ok to treat regardless, or if i should remove the snails to my 10g or 20g tank first.

    thanks in advance,
    Brian

I used Ich Attack on my tank with nerites and amano shrimp and they all made it. It's supposedly all organic, so your trapdoor snails should be fine.

However, I don't think it's necessary to treat them unless you see ich.
