  • mbu bang on crawfish....

this guy is eating more and more...
i dont do crawfish a lot, just maybe like twice a month...just to trim the teeth a little...a few crawfish is like nothing now...
finishing one in a few seconds..
he is learn to be smarter too...
used to going from the front against the claws...which he will get snaps on his skin each time by the crawfish claws...
now he always going from the tail first, or from the back of the head, or one bite in the middle of it...break the head off..and eat the body first, then the head...
i will try to take a video next time when i feed crawfish again...
this is the first one...see his stomach was a little flat...haven't feed in a day or so only...

then the stomach was a little full after the 3rd one...

and then he was taking a break...
after awhile he noticed there was another left over head...and he went for it again..lol

and when he was finally done...just resting on the sand bed a little..lol...and he was swimming around again...

                haha..thanks...
i have no idea how old is he...
i had a little over one year if i did not remember wrong....
he was all skinny and weak when i first got him....i think he doubled his length in a year..
here is a pic i took after a week when i got him i guess?

and after all the feeding...deworming...he is like this now...
notice the maze marking on the body...it will be more maze as they growing more larger...

ya...these geos look stronger then others? they were fat when i got them from brian lol..i guess he feeds a lot...
most mbu are really cool with other fishes...they only go after shellfish and snails...
fahaka on the other hand is totally different...they will hunt down every fish in the same tank
