  • "Fish On A Plane"

Has anybody had any experience bringing fish on a plane (Airline) Will TSA allow you to bring a plastic bag with fish onto a plane through security etc, since the recent terrorism stuff, and what about hassles with bringing in fish from Central or South America? Maybe these are seperate issues, but they could overlapfor me since my wife's family is Costa Rican, and her brother catches fish for aquarists.

    Good question!

I don't know the answer, but would assume it's "no." If I were you, I would ship them to my destination the day before you leave.

As for fish from Central America, you have to be VERY, EXTREMELY careful and compliant with ALL laws regarding the transport of livestock over borders.

      A recent example:

Even Heiko Bleher gets in trouble. :(
