  • Green Terror Dry Phase

Hi Everybody. My green terror breeding pair have hit a dry patch! They have gone from eggs every two months for over a year to zip - nada - nil. I haven't had a batch of fry in MONTHS.
The female wants nothing to do with the male.

I have changed food - nothing, changed water more and changed temperature - nothing, rearranged their rocks and legdges - nothing.

I'm thinking I need a new female. He still dances for her, etc but she won't come out of her cave.

I welcome all comments and suggestions.)

put an eggcrate divider in there for a while and see if that sparks any interest. maybe they've been "married" for so long now they just want their own rooms.

Keep em separated from each other for over a month or two.. Fish will forget who their partner was. Reintroduce the two and see if the spark comes back.
