The Texas Area Killifish Org regrets to inform its members that one of our
best, Alan Thomas, passed away this morning after a battle with lung cancer.
Alan will be remembered as an active member of TAKO and the AKA; and mostly,
as a good friend.
TAKO members organized to rescue Alan's fish. These are now being fostered
by various members.
Our sympathies go out to Alan's family. Public services will be held at a
later date. The medical bills will be a hardship on the family and I think
money in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family. Here is a
