      Well kind of, she held them for over 28 days then I striped the fry. She had so many in her mouth she could not close her lips.

              John Jolley had a Female Famula, spit 40 fry and she actually spit them in the tank. No telling how many got eaten before he could net them all out.

              I had a female Red Cheek spit 23 and that is alot for Trophs

                Okay, excuse my ignorance. But by "Burundi," do you mean Frontosa?

                Thanks! And no matter what, that's a lot of babies! Congrats! Would have loved to see the female before spitting. Take videos/pictures of the fry if you can!

                          Congrats!!!!!!!! I think my biggest moba spawn was 41 or 42. I usually get anywhere from 11 up to around 33 moba fry from each of my wc moba mommas.
                          180g Oceanic w/colony of 8 WC Moba Fronts (1m/7f) purchased from TNT Cichlids in Jan '05 & numerous fry. 1 F1 adult moba male. 2 2217 Eheims, 2 6080 Tunze Streams, WISA airpump, single stage Johnson ETC.....fishkeeping since 1988.
